Field Trip: The Diversity of Carmel Hills

The Diversity of Carmel Hills with Gene Blacklock--CBAS Educational Field Trip (EFT #14)

Wednesday, October 11, 2017, join Gene for a hike through Carmel Hills along the shores of Lake Corpus Christi for a chance to see raptors, shorebirds, passerines and more. Last trip there we had 72 species!  We will begin just after sun-up and end with lunch at a local restaurant in Mathis around 1:00 pm.  The stress rating for this trip is high due to extended walking on uneven ground and gentle slopes.

CBAS Educational trips are free to CBAS members but require reservations.  Participation is limited to small group to ensure educational opportunity is at its best.  To make your reservation, please email Barb at brownpelicanrap@yahoo.com and include your phone number.

If you are not a current member of either Coastal Bend Audubon Society or National Audubon Society, a printable membership form may be found online at
http://coastalbendaudubon.org/involved.html

One year’s membership is as low as $15 for a local only membership in Coastal Bend Audubon Society and $20 for a National Audubon Society membership which makes you a member of your closest Audubon chapter and eligible for this trip.  If you are unsure of your membership status, just ask.  We can check that for you.

If you should need to join or renew membership before this trip, please send your membership to the local Corpus Christi mailing address printed on the form or bring the form with you and turn it in to Gene on the day of the trip.
Participants for this trip will receive an email of trip details the weekend before the trip.
