About Our Speaker: David Sikes received his degree in journalism from the University of Houston and was the Outdoors columnist for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times for 22 years, retiring in 2019. He has received numerous awards for his conservation efforts, for raising public awareness, and for his photography. He is currently the editor of the Wildlife in Focus book series.
