Volunteer Opportunity: Upper Laguna Madre Rookery Island Cleanup - Registration Required

Coastal Bend Audubon Society (CBAS) is partnering with the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program (CBBEP),Inc. - Coastal Bird Program, to coordinate volunteer efforts for this event.

Join CBBEP in its Annual Rookery Island Cleanup and help protect vital bird nesting islands by removing trash and debris before it can harm wildlife. You must register for this event so that the donors have an accurate head count for the volunteers’ lunch.

  • On-Board Volunteers – Don’t have a boat? No problem! Sign up to ride along with one of our partner boat captains and lend a hand on the islands.

  • Shoreline Volunteers – Prefer to stay on land? There’s plenty of shoreline and nearby habitat that need attention.
