(Doors open at the Education Station classroom at 6:30 PM. Our speaker, Scott Cross, will connect with us via Zoom, and as always, our meeting attendees may also view the presentation virtually via Zoom.

About Our Speaker: Scott Cross is the Director of Nueces County Coastal Parks.

Meeting Summary: There are several exciting projects happening on Mustang and North Padre Islands, including habitat construction for Burrowing Owls, Aplomado Falcons, and neotropical migrants. A recently awarded grant will fund a large expansion of the existing Packery Channel boardwalk, and a living shoreline along Packery Channel with new amenities. Work has already begun in Port Aransas at I B Magee to enlarge the pond at the park and build a wraparound boardwalk. Come hear all about it!
