To access the Sanctuary, head north from Portland on HWY 35. Take a left on CR 93, and follow it approximately 4 miles to a stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign and drive about a mile until the road dead ends at 3 gates. The Sanctuary is the silver gate on the left, you will see the large wooden sign reading "North Bay Sanctuary". Park along the road so as not to block access to any of the gates or road and enter the property through a small opening next to the gate.

Properly managing a wildlife sanctuary is a lot of work! We are seeking volunteers who would like to help maintain the North Bay Sanctuary including mowing, weed-eating, cutting limbs, and some other light carpentry and fencing work. In addition, we have workdays and special habitat improvement projects that require volunteer help, no experience required. If you would like to help, please let us know by filling out the form to the right.
