Beneficial Plants for Birds

Birds, butterflies, and other important fauna are very dependent on plants, especially plants native to the area. As many of our local area residents are replacing plants in their yards following the February 2021 freeze, we hope that you will consider using plants that are native to the Coastal Bend area of Texas. These plants tend to be more freeze and drought resistant and a wise choice for attracting birds.

Below are 2 lists to guide you when purchasing new plants for your yard:
